"Driver did not give me back my correct change. Driver was not wearing a mask. I was very disappointed and decided to call the office. The lady was very rude. While I try to explain to her,she didn't want to listen. She was talking at the same time. Then she's gonna tell if I raised my voice she was gonna hang up the phone. She did!"

"Pretty sure the driver stole my phone that I dropped. Already checked the drop off location. And the dispatcher called back after about 2 minutes, saying the driver "looked" for it.Used the service for like the past 7 yrs. But no more. The other drivers were great though. Also the driver took 2 hours to show up."

"I called Checker Yellow Cab this morning to arrange a ride for my husband to pick up his second car. There have not been any Lyfts or Ubers around for the past two days, so I needed to resort to a cab company, knowing this would cost us much more than a ride service would. I found the information for the company via Google. I should have taken one look at the low ratings and moved on to someone else. The scheduling phone call was pleasant enough. I gave the receptionist my pickup address and destination and asked for the rate. I asked for a phone call when a driver was on the way, which I received. My husband texted me at one point during the ride to let me know the driver had stopped for gas. It had taken him 40 minutes from his phone call to arrive at our house, so I'm not sure why he didn't just get gas before picking up my husband. Then my husband called me when he reached his destination and told me the driver had told him no credit cards are accepted, just cash, which my husband did not have with him. I was livid. I had not been informed of this information, and had I known, he would have taken cash. I called the receptionist and asked why I was not informed about them taking cash only. Admittedly, I was quite angry, which is not always effective when having a conversation, and I did say that normal cab companies accept credit cards. I was told that it was my responsibility to ask about what payment is accepted and that I should not tell the receptionist how to do her job. I asked her how we could resolve the situation since my husband did not have cash. She told me he could go to an ATM (which was not available in the residential area) or use Cash App, or they would call the police. I was shocked that she would escalate so quickly. Thankfully, I have Cash App. I was surprised that wasn't initially offered as an option. Then the receptionist hung up on me. I was appalled by the lack of information provided to me, as well as the rude customer service. Then I went to the company's website. A screenshot is provided. On their home page, they advertise that "We can accept all major credit cards as well as cash." Liars. If I could give Checker Yellow Cab 0 stars for lack of customer service, I would. We will never use this company again."

"The driving refused to take me because I’m trans gender and he drove off and left me after I waited 2 hours for him to get there horrible phone service as well I called back and women told me the driver didn’t feel comfortable. I’m a paying customer Nd was riding with this taxi company for a while but definitely will be reconsidered doing any more business with them."

"NEVER AGAIN! Called at 488-5555 at 8:53pm to request a ride. Dispatcher never offered a estimate of pick up time so I asked her how long I should expect to wait. She said they would pick me up in about 30 minutes. I waited 1hr and 34min, hey never showed. Finally called them back at 10:27pm and dispatcher said they are still trying to get someone out to pick me up. I told her to cancel and informed her I will use Uber next time."
