Mallard Creek Apartments

"The property manager is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. The apartments have not been renovated. They paint them and call it renovated. Lol .The only area renovated is the property managers office. The pool was opened for about two weeks last year. The property manager said the pumps went out and the owners do not want to fix them. You have to pay for your central air and heat filters. The one bedrooms have no window or vents which causes mold. The machines in the laundry room never work. The ceiling is falling down in the laundry room. The electrical plug at the door in the laundry room doesn’t work ( which is a fire hazard and the proper people will be notified ) sink is not hooked up properly and it stays nasty all the time. In several apartments there is no fire detector and people will be notified).The parking lot that they paved is starting to crack again and the steps going up to the second floor apartments are rusted. The building inspector will be notified about looking at all the stairs. The old tennis court hasn’t been used in 20years and is falling down and is an eye sore. The apartments are small and you no amenities. I’ve taken pictures to verify everything I’ve listed. It’s just sad how this property manager and Tami Burton of Pickering and Co have let the place go down hill."

"Mallard Creek apartments where should I start!! When I first moved here it was pleasant but now with new management it has become a DAMN mess!!! There hasn’t been any upgrades but the rent has been going up $100 every year!! When you don’t pay by 5th there is extra $41 charge and after that your threatened with an eviction!!!! When you go to the website there is false pictures of apartments on there no one’s apartment looks like the pictures!!! It the managers office!! When you try to call the manager she never answers the phone !! I can go on and on I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!"

"Don’t recommend it’s always something going on! Rent goes up but the parking lot is “pothole city” rent goes up yet the apartments are never upgraded. Potholes haven’t been fixed in the 2 years I’ve been here. Pool never opened last summer the tennis court has been locked for the 2 years that I’ve been here. Bugs of all kinds. 10 months without pest control coming. Even though they were suppose to be coming monthly. Pest control doesn’t fully spray (I’ve seen it in person and have it on camera). Laundry facility burns your clothes because the dryer will heat up but the basket won’t spin. So I’ve def lost money there. Had an appliance go out (that apparently take 2-3 weeks to get a new one)"

"GREAT PLACE...I have lived here for over 10 years and I do not have one complaint. My work order issue's (if any) are taken care of in a timely manner and they do fix their repairs. Ms. Betty (the property manager) is great and she keeps the complex nice looking and quiet. A big shout out to the property manager and all her staff for the great job they do!! They have resident activities through out the year.& everything is close by such as the gym & park... From one Happy Resident-you will love it here!!"
