"Went here for my child's birthday. The "host" was nice, BUT.... she didn't discuss anything with me and just kept adding more stuff to the bears without my consent, and with her hyping my kids up, it left me speechless... I felt I was in a position where if I said anything it would ruin my kids day and I'd still end up paying for all the extra scents, sounds, heartbeats, etc. I get the goal is to make a good sale, but the staff should be trained to talk with the parents about the extra stuff and not the kids. We have been here many times and never once have I experienced something like this. We won't be returning."

"I'm 25 years old and this was my first time ever at Build a Bear. The employees were enthusiastic about assisting me. And honestly gave me the whole experience. I felt silly a couple times. Because you expect it to be for mostly children. But I loved their energy, and would recommend to anyone!"
