"I’m forever grateful to Dr. Rhee for being an integral part of my VBAC. I had a consultation with her at 12 months postpartum with tears in my eyes as I spoke about my traumatic c-section. I pushed for 3 hours with my first before his heart decelerations led to my c-section. With Dr. Rhee, I pushed for less than 5 mins and only had two labial stitches. She was a commanding presence in the room, and I felt so confident in care, during what could have been a very triggering experience. She also thanked me after my birth for trusting her and I really appreciated that. Dr. Rhee gave me the biggest gift in helping me have a healing birth. It has made my postpartum experience so much better and has also given me closure on my first birth.
