"I met with Dr. Shirazian about 2 weeks ago & was so relieved to have a doctor who finally listened & was able to give adequate referrals & help with a solution with my fibroids. I am already pleased with her & God willing can continue to keep the 5 star rating up for her. When I told her my concerns & she immediately presented with ways to fix it, I practically wanted to cry tears of joy. SO many doctors don’t listen to patients. I felt really happy to have met Dr. Shirazian. UPDATE: Dr. Shirazian performed a surgery for me today & I had a mini panic attack beforehand due to past trauma & doc immediately came to my aide and helped calm me down & even played my favorite artist before I went under anesthesia. She is the best doctor. I wish more doctors were like her. She truly cares about her patients & doesn’t come off as elitist. She is passionate about fibroids and as far as I’m concerned the only doctor anyone should see for them! God bless her. An angel on earth."

"I cannot express how lucky I am that Dr. Shirazian came into my life. I was originally supposed to get my procedure done with another doctor. However, after many failed attempts to properly schedule one with his surgical coordinator, I started looking for another doctor. During that time, I ended up in the hospital for another blood transfusion. It was there that I referred to Dr. Shirazian. She listened, truly listened, and made me feel seen and heard. She was caring, compassionate and completely understanding of the fact that I was ready to have my surgery, but that I was also scared as all get out. When the day of the surgery came, she was supportive and ready to make this change happen. (She also allowed me to choose a playlist for my surgery. I didn't hear it as I went under before it started, but I was covered in warm blankets, felt cozy and safe, and loved the idea that it was playing in the background.) I had had an abdominal myomectomy to remove 44 fibroids, and Dr. Shirazian visited me after the procedure to see how I was doing and to talk about post-op care. I scheduled a follow-up appointment for a couple of weeks later. At the post-op visit, she answered all of my questions and made sure to let me know that I could reach out to her with any questions. I have done so, multiple times, and she has always been very responsive. She even recommended my scar gel which works amazingly and I scar terribly. She had been telling me that my periods were going to be like night and day after. I had no idea how right she would be. My periods are so light now it's unbelievable. That is no exaggeration. I would recommend Dr. Shirazian to anyone and everyone who needs fibroid help. She has changed my life into one that I didn't know could exist. Even those words don't do justice to what she has done for me, and again, that is no exaggeration."

"Wouldn’t go to her if you have endometriosis. She told me there was a “90% chance” I didn’t have it after my MRI came back clear, but agreed to surgery after I insisted it was endo. She did my laparoscopy and it was confirmed. She barely followed up with me. Now I have another laparoscopy scheduled with a different surgeon because apparently there was a lot of endo missed during the initial surgery. It doesn’t seem like Shirazian is an expert in endo. However, she was one of the first doctors that believed my pain and listened. But I’m sticking with Dr. Seckin from now on."

"Dr. Shirazian was a beam of light when I met her. She listened to my voice and I could feel she really cared. Her passion spoke volumes. She thoroughly explained all my options. While she gave me her medical opinion on what she thought was best, she also made me feel empowered to make my own decision on which treatment I was comfortable with. She naturally has a strength in connecting with patients. Ultimately I got an open myomectomy. The thought of surgery tortured me for months. To my surprise, the surgery was not at all what I expected. Under the care of Dr. Shirazian and her team, my surgery was a great success and a huge load off once completed. All the things I feared did not happen: I had no blood transfusion, no excruciating pain (with medication), no long recovery etc. My incision was horizontal and small considering how large my fibroid was and is healing well. I lost nearly 10 lbs after the surgery. After 12 days, it was unreal that I had just undergone a big surgery. Choosing a surgeon I felt safe with with and one who had performed a high number fibroid surgeries of varying complexities was important to me. Without out a doubt if this is important to you too, you should choose her as your surgeon."
