I was going through a rough personal issue and her extra TLC (before I even explained to her my situation) really brightened my morning. I am thankful for her. She is an angel."

"Extreme Malpractice! My visit with Dr. Parita Sahani on July 27th, 2022 following the 16 weeks anatomy scan started with her stating that she will never take a child because she is certain to be diabetic as we are from that region of the world. She insisted that I am diabetic even after I passed and my 3hr sugar test. She informed us that our baby will be 11lbs, I will most like have a C-section and baby will be in NICU and have pancreas damage because the 16 weeks scan showed the fetus was too large... The fetus was perfectly fine and not large! Dr. Sahani wanted me to stop all carbs, rice, pasta and fruits immediately. Overall she was very bitter and every single comment about on my pregnancy was negative. I left the appointment traumatized and couldn't help but feel helpless and guilty that I was doing something wrong. My very pleasant pregnancy became a source of worry and tension filled with bad thoughts. I now know that all her observations were incorrect. I left NYU and had a natural, smooth and safe delivery at Weill Cornell. A friend of mine just delivered her baby with Dr. Sahani at NYU Langone and she left part of her Placenta inside which infected her and got her readmitted to the hospital. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone."
