Reviews
"There are a lot of negative reviews about Dr. Weihong Yan in here but based on my personal experience, she is very good and took care of me very well during check-ups, delivery, and post delivery. Yes, waiting period took quite long maybe because she deals with each patient with their concerns. My advice is to always arrive early, perhaps an hour before your schedule and that is what I do. As for the check-up, pap smear, ultrasound, and tests, she dealt with me professionally. Answered all my questions as a first time Mother and addressed all my concerns. Front desk staff might not be accommodating but they are organized when it comes to schedule and follow-up calls. Consistent vital checks and urine test (if required) will be done before you see Dr. Yan."
"I have never waited so long for a follow up appointment. I had an appointment at 10:30 am, and got there at 10:00 am, when I got there 10 person were already there , and I had to wait standing because there was no sit left. At 12 md I was getting anxious, 2 people that got there after me were seen before me, I ended up seeing the Dr at 12:35 for a 8 min consult. I work in a Dr office as well and I have never since this endless waiting time. What’s the point of having an appointment “time” if they do first come first serve. Never coming back. they need to work more on the organization and scheduling, every time I mention to the Medical assistant my concern about the waiting time etc they just ignored me"
"It’s crazy what you have waited for 2 hours and they don’t tell you until you ask that there are 5 people ahead of you and the doctor won’t be able to get to you today. The front desk has a ridiculous manner and don’t value any patients time. Will change provide."
"I can't complain as a professional but after pandemia the waiting time became worse. You have to expend more than 3 hrs in a waiting room doesn't matter how early or late is your appointment. The front desk forget patients or goes with her friends first. My last appointment 3 months ago was the same situation"
"This provider referred to my Autism Spectrum Disorder as "smart autism" before and after I explained why that made me uncomfortable. I had to tell the receptionist over the phone to please stop calling me to schedule a follow-up appointment. I understand Dr. Yan has had a long career and boasts photos of numerous babies delivered to new mothers in her waiting room. I'm sure she's a very capable provider, but my experience left me feeling infantalized and deeply uncomfortable."
