"the staff was initially incredibly friendly and welcoming so i had really high hopes of this becoming my new gynecologist office. However, there are two very serious issues i need to address. During my sonogram, the tech pulled out a blue "NYC" labeled condom (the ones at college clinics) and wrapped it around the device used for inter-vaginal sonograms. I am highly allergic to latex and have now been experiencing symptoms of allergic reaction days later. I was not asked if i had any allergies, nor was i asked if it was okay to use a CONDOM as a "sterile" tool for gynecological exams. I do not believe this is best practice nor is it something i would be okay with. I would have declined the test if i knew this was their standard procedure. I have had many ultrasounds due to the nature of my issue and this has NEVER happened before. I was in complete shock, and having had to have this device inserted inside of me, i simply shut down and didnt say anything, as there was not an opportunity for me to say something. The second, and additionally anxiety provoking, situation is that no. one. will. return. my. calls. when i left the office i was supposed to be set up with a patient portal but i was not. I have been trying (and failing) to reach a secretary or any sort of representative on the line. I keep leaving messages and no one is responding to me. Like i said, the doctor was very sweet and very accommodating, but their ultrasound tech, who i was assured was very "experienced", needs to ask women if they are allergic to anything before using a condom on a device and putting it inside someone. My body cant tolerate most condoms and i would have disclosed that if asked. as i stated, i was not expecting to have had this happen as this has never been the method used at other doctor's offices, i am always asked if i have allergies and they always use a sterile barrier that was nonirritating across all the doctors I have seen. You need to have open and honest conversations with women before doing something as invasive as that. it was a really horrible experience for me. I, unfortunately, will not be returning to this practice. But the doctor was very very sweet, gentle, and kind with me. I would have explained this all to a secretary, but no one will return my calls and i truly feel like women should have this knowledge before coming to this clinic"
"I like this little clinic a lot! Very friendly stuff, Dr. Grana seems to be a very professional. Been going there for almost a year now. Highly recommend!"
"Staff was professional, courteous and informed me of anything along the way. I would definitely go back. I also waited 5 min before being seen on a Monday morning."
"They are very nice and friendly. The appointment didn’t take too long. The only thing I didn’t like is that I’m a transgender woman and all the time they used masculine pronouns which makes me feel uncomfortable. They could just try to be neutral or call me by my name instead."
"I went to have a immigration physical exam. Prior to visit, the chat/email service via their website was clear on my existing vaccinations and what paperwork/proof that would be sufficient. The staff was transparent in the cost and what to expect for the actual physical. The visit went smooth and the waiting time was within 10- minutes. Highly recommended"
