"Worst insurance policy i have ever had. Only covers $1000 of claims everything above is out of pocket - in essence that is not an insurance policy as i have no peace of mind if i ever need emergency i wont have to worry about the cost. The sugar on top is that they wont allow dentists to do full deep cleanings, only half the mouth at any one time? what?! Its the worst policy i have ever had."
"Horrifying customer service. Put a live person on the phone. You waste your life trying to get to someone and the phone immediately disconnects as soon as it says it is going to transfer you. This is the result of a lack of healthy competition."
"DO NOT buy LONG TERM DISABILITY from this carrier This was a total and complete waste of money. If you were on short term disability save your money. They will take 45 days to make a determination about your case. Even though you have worked with them from day one on day 42 they will figure out another provider to request information from and deny your claim because the doctor didn't provide the information. Then once you get the information to them the 45-day clock will start ticking again. We will be filing a complaint with the insurance commissioner for the state that we live in. We are also looking into federal regulations and will likely file a complaint with the EBSA to determine if they have violated ERISA. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GUARDIAN LIFE!!"
