"We have been to several urgent care clinics in the past, but NY Urgent Care Clinic stands out. I took my 91 year old father. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with respect and kindness. They assisted us from paperwork to making us feel at ease. The team was attentive, and my father received the care he deserved. Greatly appreciate it."
"Had no wait time when going here. Was taken to the exam room within a minute. Doc was very thorough in asking questions and explaining what i needed to do. Will definitely use this New York Urgent care again."
"My recent experience with NYU Urgent Care located in Bellerose was marred by their rude and unprofessional billing department. Not only did they fail to address a billing issue, but they also made me feel like a criminal simply for inquiring about the matter. After visiting the urgent care for a sinus infection and providing my insurance information, I believed everything was settled. However, years later, I received a bill for the visit, which was being sent to my old address. Instead of searching for old insurance that I no longer had, I reached out to the billing department to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, my attempts to rectify the confusion were met with hostility. The billing representatives, Debbie and Susan in the Melville, NY billing department, were exceptionally rude. Despite my polite and calm inquiry, they refused to escalate the call to management and proceeded to raise their voices, talking over me. This behavior was uncalled for and unprofessional, making it difficult to have a productive conversation and find a resolution. Moreover, their lack of empathy and understanding made the situation even more frustrating. I was trying to address the issue and pay the true bill, which initially amounted to a little over $300. However, to my surprise, the bill had somehow skyrocketed to over $700. Their dismissive and confrontational approach left me feeling like a criminal for simply seeking clarification and resolution. Overall, my experience with NYU Urgent Care's billing department was extremely disheartening. Their unprofessional conduct and failure to address the issue in a respectful manner were deeply disappointing. I hope that NYU Urgent Care takes immediate action to address the behavior and attitudes within their billing department to ensure that no other patient is made to feel the way I did. I wish I could give a zero for this review, due to the all-around poor service from both the front desk and billing department."
"I recently had an urgent medical issue and visited an New York Urgent Care facility in my area. I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and efficient service I received. The staff was very accommodating and made sure that I was seen by a doctor as soon as possible. The doctor who treated me was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly examine me. They explained my diagnosis and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel at ease. I also appreciated the convenient hours of the Urgent Care facility. They were open late into the evening, which made it easy for me to seek medical attention after work."
"Do not come here! This place shows close time at 8:00 p.m. I came in at 7:45p.m because my 6 years old bumped his head and bleed a lot. Doctor told me he just finished seeing his last patient and they are about to close. Doctor didnt even care about my little kid and no checking on my poor bleeding boy. They had time to argue with a worried mom about they are about to close, there's nothing they can do because they need to go home, but they were not willing to check on the bleeding boy. They do not feel shame when they refused to treat a bleeding in pain little boy. But they do feel shame when I took the picture on them (use anyway to cover themselves). This doctor's license should be revoke because he's cold and has no ethical at all."
