"Today (January 30, 2024) I drove 2 hours to my appointment in LIC. We had moved but I thought it would be bad form to cancel my appointment so I was making my way over to Queens. Only to be told that "no one was in the office today" when I arrived. I was told that I must have the date wrong. I didn't as show on the numerous appointment reminders I had received from them. So I turned around and drove 2 hours back home. What a waste of time that was. If I hadn't shown up for my appointment I would have been charged a penalty fee. But apparently wasting my day is perfectly fine. And on top of that I just received a text message that read: "We see that you cancelled your appointment with ProHealth Dental - Long Island City at Today at 10:00AM. Would you like to book another appointment?" What a joke. Never again..."
"AVOID AT ALL COST The only positive thing about ProHealth Dental, in Long Island City, are their hygienists. They are the only professional part of this business. The receptionist, Corinna, could not be more rude and condescending, and the dentist are amateurs. Seriously, if you are looking for a dentist, avoid this one, I’m pretty sure the other reviews here were written by employees or family members."
"The receptionist Jackie was very inefficient sadly. She wasn’t helpful regarding our insurance company and didn’t seem helpful in trying to get in touch with them either. She lied several times and we didn’t feel very welcomed as a new patient. I hope other patients get a better welcome and if it weren’t because of ProHealth being the closest location to my home, my insurance provider recommended, I wouldn’t return. Very disappointed!"
"Experience was great, the hygienist took her time to make sure everything was done efficiently, and was very informative and knowledgeable on advising for better and improved dental hygiene."
"The service was very efficient, human service and proper attention, the doctors and staff were very profesional and nice. The doctor who made the dental cleaning was gently and i think it was one of the best cleaning service i had in years."
