Boulevard Plaza Dental: Christopher Mihalios DDS

"I am sharing this as objectively as possible as I have seen numerous dentists since my insurance is not that good. And this review is purely based on my dental experience, as I cannot attest to Dr.Mihalios' character, he seems like a good guy. My first visit as I was a new patient, the doctor was late by a couple hours, due to a personal matter, which I tried to be understanding about. I had a dental crown filled in by this office after a root canal. Since then, I had experienced discomfort with the crown so i went back about 2 times to see if they can see what was wrong with it. The first time, they shaved the crown down. The 2nd time I was told they were going to take X-Rays, but instead the crown was shaved again and no X-Rays were taken. Still felt discomfort, at this point I was tired of going back. I had made a future appointment to get some cavities removed, but after my procedure was done, I was told by my insurance that doctor Mihalios was no longer in network, without any warning. I then called the office for them to confirm "Yes we decided we will no longer participate in the network" So now I am just left with an ill-fitting crown and I am searching for a new dentist. There are a couple of other things I can mention about this office and my experience, but as unhappy as I am I just hope this business sees my review and addresses these issues for future patients going forward. EDIT** - I got the crown checked out by a new dentist, and was told the crown was just too high and it needed to be shaved down. I will adjust my review because it does not seem like the tooth was handled improperly. Thank you"

"Thank you to Dr. Chris and his dream team for providing a positive experience. I was looking for a new dentist and I am glad I selected Blvd Plaza Dental. The front end staff ensures a seamless check in process. I did not wait long before I was seen and Dr. Chris takes his time to explain everything in detail. He goes above and beyond for his patients as he truly cares! I will be returning with all my dental needs."

"While I always aim to be understanding and patient, my experience with Boulevard Plaza Dental has severely tested those limits. Over the span of three visits, I managed to meet the actual dentist only once. First Visit: I waited between 20 to 30 minutes, which seemed a bit long, but was eventually seen by the dentist for a check-up. Upon examination, I was informed that I'd need fillings and subsequently scheduled a return appointment. Second Visit: I encountered a significant delay, waiting nearly an hour. Though I understand that emergencies can arise in any medical setting, the lack of proactive communication was disappointing. I wasn't informed of the delay until I took the initiative to inquire. Due to this extended wait, I had to reschedule because of other engagements. Third Visit: This appointment proved to be the most frustrating. I called in advance day of, sharing my concerns about a tight schedule. Despite my apprehensions, the receptionist repeatedly assured me that I would be attended to promptly. Regrettably, this did not happen. I waited for over 30 minutes, during which I observed the dentist heading over to attend to another patient.. After over an hour of waiting, I sought clarity from the receptionist, she mentioned that they would not be able to complete all the work I needed that day, necessitating yet another visit. While unexpected delays are understandable, the persistent lack of clear communication and disregard for patients' time is inexcusable. Shame on them."

"I went to Dr. Mihalios today, fearful of my situation with my teeth. . He was incredibly gentle, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He was able to take care of everything that day which was very relieving. I will surly be returning and I am very grateful to him!!!"

"This is the worst dentist office. Even with an appointment you will wait over 1 hour if you're lucky and might end up not seeing the dentist at all unless you can sit in the waiting room for an unlimited period of time. The doctor and staff are also completely unapologetic about the long waits and rude if you go up to ask them how much longer. I was scheduled for a routine cleaning and checkup. After waiting 45mins after my scheduled time they told me they don't have time to do the cleaning anymore because it will make them too backed up. Do not come here unless you can devote the entire day to the dentist"
