Dr. Veshana Ramiah

Dr. Veshana Ramiah is a renowned board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist located at 23 Sunnybrook Road in Raleigh, North Carolina. Specializing in treating patients with gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers, as well as hematological malignancies such as lymphoma and myeloma, Dr. Ramiah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice.

With a background that includes training and work in three continents, Dr. Ramiah views her work as an oncologist as a perfect blend of healing art and cutting-edge technology. Dr. Ramiah obtained her medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in the United Kingdom. She then went on to complete her fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Duke University Medical Center.

In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Ramiah is also involved in the local community as the co-founder of StrongHer TogetHer, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls.
