"Dr Dmitry saved my teeth two actually. He is also helping me with restoring my top teeth .I love his staff and he is very nice and patient."
"I had a great experience at the dentist today, the staff there are kind, understanding and work swiftly. Will definitely be recommending Mr.Gerber to others who are seeking a good dentist."
"when in for a cleaning weeks later, I experienced pain and went back and was told that my gums was irritated, and that I just needed mouthwash, even though I was in excruciating pain afterwards, I happened to go to a specialist, took me five days to find one under my insurance and they came to find out that when I did the cleaning my tooth got fractured and I needed an immediate root canal that was painful. It was costly, and it was very negligent."
"Called Friday because I was developing an abscess. Was scheduled for Monday (today) as an emergency appointment for 5:30. That's an emergency appointment? Asked for Saturday but the receptionist didn't budge. Fast forward tom Monday and I left a message with the office prior to opening. I get there and sternly asked to see the Dr. At this point my right cheek looked like Sherman in the Nutty Professor. She takes it personally and there was an attitude. I told her that I didn't care about her attitude and if she could PLEASE tell the Dr to come out and look at my face. Attitude again and I said, I don't care about your attitude. She replies, You came in yelling at me. She goes to tell the Dr that I'm here evidently not because of my situation because when she came back she says, He said that he will see you after he sees his Patients. I said, Patients? I'll go find another Dentist. She says, Ok. Bye. Attitude! For those ppl who don't get it. When someone says, "You" then take it personal. Otherwise, it should be looked at because your in some kind of distress as how you would like to be treated. Luckily I'm not one to hold all of my eggs in one basket so I had also made an appointment with Dr. Gracias @ 143 Essex Street. I had a wait but not too long and when I had gone in the Assistant told me she needed to take an X-ray and that she will sit me back into the waiting area until the Dr was available. I couldn't open too wide because of the swelling on my face. She informed Dr Gracias and the Dr came in and gently said, But I need an X-ray. They did other measures and it was done. Perfect. The Dr didn't let the Assistant have me go back to the waiting room. She had the Assistant prepare the next room for me. She examined me and stated that the infection from my tooth was going into my eye. She prescribed antibiotics and that's all that I needed until the next step. Very compassionate. Everyone be safe and be well!"
"First time coming here because my regular dentist is far out queens and I work in Lower manhattan so this was not too far of a train ride from my job. I was beginning to worry since I read the reviews although some reviews were super old and I checked zocdoc reviews too. My dentist since I was a kid isn’t the nicest but he is a good dentist and cleans my teeth well and educates his patients on the importance of dental hygiene and etc. They also have 3D dental x-ray scans too. Dr Gerber’s office is extremely small waiting area. I came 30 mins early to my appointment and was see almost 30 mins after what my appointment was supposed to be so I was in that office for an hour. Receptionist was super nice and well spoken. The Dental assistants was nice too. Dr Gerber isn’t much of a talker but he did the job of cleaning my teeth. The only turnoff was that the tool he used sprayed so much water onto my face that by the time I was done, my mascara smudged. I felt that when he was polishing my teeth last, it felt so rushed that when i spit my water out it was so red from the polish paste. Never happened before with me with my other dentist. Not sure if I will be back. But it isn’t the worst place to go to if you’re just there for a basic cleaning. Dr Gerber was very nice."
