"Please consider another surgeon It is 11 mos. since surgery and I still do not have complete feeling in my upper under arm as this person damaged nerves during surgery. I have been told by another surgeon that the feeling at skin level will not return. I have gone to physical therapy which helped remove the cording (scar tissue) and relieve the fluid margins around the seroma which developed after surgery but it did not help the seroma itself. During surgery he had difficulty with closing the wound and with a routine sentinel node biopsy. I started out with a grade 1 tumor (no lump) and DCIS which only showed up during a routine mammogram. Now I have a fluid lump (seroma) and an upper underarm with lack of feeling. He is, however, very thorough with explanations and spending time with you during visits and providing test results just, in my opinion, not good as a surgeon. "Williams seems to be still riding his reputation from when he was with HOPE. He acts compassionate and caring, he will pray with you but when you stop worshiping him as a physician he will tell you to find another doctor. I can't fault his skills as a surgeon but after a year of being under his care I questioned the follow-up care he had planned. He completely violated the doctor-patient relationship, told me he was frustrated, that I should find another doctor, walked out of the room and I never saw him again. I had never had cross words with him, never missed an appointment, never rescheduled an appointment, I did everything he asked me to do. My concerns were verified by the radiologist, my new surgeon and my new oncologist. I have very dense breast tissue and the appropriate follow-up care includes breast MRIs NOT mammograms in his office every six months. Today I discovered (one year after radiation) that due to the lack of information, even though I asked .. I can't have the plastic surgery I need to make me whole. If I had been given the requested information, I would have prepared and planned differently."

I had him removed from my case in the middle of my recovery.I am still haunted from the health journey while under his care.
