"A lovely place in the middle of nowhere to learn about the history of the area, grab some snacks and poke around. Staff was very helpful in answering questions and talking about the history or Mortimer and Edgemont."

"We drove from Blowing Rock down Globe Rd. which took about an hour, to hike Harper Creek Falls. Afterwards we stopped by Coffey's to get something to drink and a few snacks. The Store-Museum is fabulous to wander through with all the history we wanted to spend more time but is was in between heavy rain storms and we felt a little rushed to beat the crazy storms. But the lady working the counter who makes the wonderful bread was a blast to talk to. So incredibly sorry that I don't remember her name! We definitely have to go back because my husband wanted the praline bread and mistakenly picked up the pistachio but he loved it! Oh and I want to try her famous strawberry rhubarb jelly. Great store highly recommend taking the beautiful drive out to Coffey's."
