"I had endometriosis excision and a hysterectomy in October 2022 performed by Dr. Stepp. Everything went great with my procedure! I wanted to wait a full year before writing a review to be sure I didn't have any additional issues kick up since I know how tricky endo can be but I am doing wonderful! I don't live in pain anymore! I highly recommend checking Dr. Stepp out if you are someone that lives with endo pain!"
"I am 4 weeks post-op after my Endometriosis Excision surgery with Dr. Stepp and I'm feeling very good. I have recovered very well and my experience has been overall great with this office. Dr. Stepp and his NP Shannon Smith have been very attentive, thorough and kind throughout the whole process from consultation to surgery day. All of the staff were also very kind and professional. Dr. Stepp and his team found several locations of Endometriosis and excised them completely and removed a cyst on my ovary. Every single one of my concerns was addressed and I'm so relieved to finally have answers after 9+ years of suffering and OBGYNS telling me there was nothing wrong with me. I'm not happy that I have an incurable disease but I'm very happy that I have a diagnosis and my first experience with Endometriosis excision surgery was with this office. My only complaint is that I was not informed when my surgery time was changed and the only reason I learned about the change was because I called the office the day before my surgery to double check. I think this was a miscommunication between offices but that was my only negative experience."
"Dr Stepp isn’t the problem at this office. It’s his staff. Funny that as far my experience goes, we dealt solely with women— and you know, and they were abysmal. Pre-care was sufficient, Stepp’s surgery…ok. But deal with this office post surgery and you might as well just save yourself the aggravation and hoof it alone. For a group of women to be so uninterested and callous to surgical patients post op—fellow women at that——is appalling —and so you ask yourself why they are even in this profession. All I know is I recently had surgery at Hospital for Specialized Surgery, affiliated with Cornell and the after care was so kind and compassionate, prompt and professional. Everything Atrium was not. This office needs the Equity part of training in the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity triad."
"The Women’s Center for Pelvic Health / Mercy is a jewel in Charlotte’s crown! Dr. Kevin Stepp’s training and experience at Cleveland Clinic weighed heavily in my decision to select him as my surgeon. (Cleveland Clinic is a national leader in laparoscopic/minimally invasive Ob/Gyn surgical techniques and that is exactly what I wanted.) Dr Stepp takes a conservative approach and is 100% committed to excellent outcome. In addition, he has put together a professional and dedicated team. At CMC Atrium Women’s Center for Pelvic Health, from the front desk, to the office manager, to the people who entered the treatment room, every single member of Dr. Stepp’s team was spot-on collaborative, attentive and committed to doing everything they could - at every opportunity - to make my health and well-being their priority. Thank you all! I am truly grateful."
"Dr. Stepp is one of the most genuine & caring doctors that I've come across. I had to have a partial hysterectomy & my insurance wouldn't approve his method (robotics) but instead wanted him to gut me like a fish. He told me not to worry he would get me approved & he did. The surgery went as planned & my little 2 inch wound was painless & healed without a scar. Oh & his staff was nothing short of AMAZING ‼️"
