"I went to see Dr. Chandler for a yearly exam and to have an old IUD removed and a new one inserted. He made a suggestion for a different IUD, as there was a new one available since the last time I'd had one inserted. When I said no, however, he didn't push it; he just said he was giving me my options. He was professional throughout the exam. My favorite part, though, was that he never told me the IUD wasn't going to hurt. It's my fourth one and I KNOW it hurts, but every other practitioner has told me, oh, no, just a pinch, it's barely anything. (Or some similar variation of that message.)
