"I was hit from behind from a car that had travelers insurance. This should’ve been cut and dry and they give me a check. My husband passed away three years ago and the car happened to still be in his name, I sent emails and made phone calls and begged and pleaded for somebody to get back in touch with me to find out exactly how to fill out The title I did it the way I put in his death certificate, signed his name next to it. Well, they sent me a check that’s going to an estate that doesn’t exist anymore because it liquidated three years ago so now I can’t get my money. I have to go through the IRS! It will take me five months to get this money so basically I get to take the bus nobody will return calls the road and their insurance adjusters cannot be reached by phone or email. What the world is that about! My homeowners is through travelers and as soon as that policies up, I’m canceling it do yourself a favor and stay away from them !"
"This is a terrible insurance company to work with. We settled with them for a payment on our car that they declared totaled after being in a minor fender bender. It took way too long to receive payment because they never sent the check that they promised. We had to continually call insurance agents that were extremely rude and unhelpful. Avoid this company"
"Run as fast as you can away from this insurance company. I started a claim over a month ago with an adjuster Justin Murphy. The claim process started well but communication quickly broke down. My vehicle was written off and I was told that the rental would no longer be covered. I purchased a new vehicle, however Justin and his team did not return my license plates. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for days. I eventually recieved the license plate in the mail that was torn off the car and the mounting hole ruined. I was left on the hook for a $400 rental car bill and a broken plate. I escalated the issue to a supervisor Barry Smith, 5 days later and I have yet to hear back. If this is how the treat you with just property damage, imagine if there were injuries. Run as fast as you can, far, far away."
"This company is by far the worst . One of their insured drivers was drunk , hit and totaled my car BACK IN JANUARY. They bought my car, I mailed the title to them in May and it was received and signed for. It’s now May 26th & I have yet to receive any paperwork, mail nor package from them. No one ever answers the phone and the lady i spoke to doesn’t respond to message nor answer either. Very upsetting"
"This company is by far the worst, I’ve been going back and forth with them about a manhole that damaged the subframe on my car. The “Claims Adjuster” is trying her best to get some “bonus money”. She insisted that she’s been in auto claims for 6 years and she has never seen this happen and doubted that the manhole damaged it. The construction company that’s insured by them sent over partial photos. I had to submit my own photos . She then stated that according to state guidelines that the construction zone was up to state code which it was not . I went out there with my own tape measure and showed them that the manhole was 3” inches out of the ground . I sent photos in . Now they are saying that they do not have pictures of the photos the day of . I went back and found photos I took the day of. They are trying their best to deny my claim but it’s not going to happen . I would give them below a zero if I could . I will be contacting the better business bureau next. The construction company even went back and tried to pave around the manhole after the claim was found. They knew they were in the wrong !"
