"The most ridiculous annuals I have ever had. She charged me an office visit charge during my annuals because during my appointment: 1. I disclosed I had a preexisting health issue and she put in extra blood work as a result (which came in as a separate lab charge). I was a new patient and I thought she needed full history. I did not need or receive treatment for this. There was no discussion even performed on this. 2. Because I showed her some pigmentation in the area she was examining, asking if it is cancer. She told me it does not look like cancer and to go to a dermatologist. No treatment was needed or even discussed. 3. Because they weighed me during my annuals and asked me if there is any concerns I have as they do my annuals and I mentioned that I am concerned about my weight increase - something I have done in my prior annuals as well with other doctors. The doctor spent about 10 mins talking to me on what can be done differently. When I contested the charges explaining how I did not ask for treatment and was not given any, I was told the doctor spent sentence(s) talking on it and hence the charge. In all my years of getting my annuals done, I have never ever been charged an office visit because the doctor spent 10 mins addressing concerns that they themselves ask me about or disclosing history or showing possible symptoms on things they are looking for. This is fleecing! Not going back here."
