"I have been seeing Dr. Brandon since relocating to Charlotte five years ago. I was adamant about having a doctor who looked like me with an excellent bedside manner, and she fit the bill. I was having trouble getting pregnant, and she found and removed several fibroids successfully, and I got pregnant in no time. Her bedside manner during that procedure was A+ to the point that even my mother and husband, who supported me, commented on how great she was (and they still ask about her when I visit for my annual exams). I am always excited to visit because she’s like that caring aunt/mom who will give you things straight but tactfully. Admittedly, the nurse Dr. Brandon had years ago when I first came to her was phenomenal, and she left. The nurse after her, admittedly, I was not crazy about as she was very self-centered, but she is no longer there. The one I met a few days ago was on her second or third day but was still friendly and caring - I think she will be a great fit; the receptionist has always been pleasant and conversational whenever I visit. I also like the new NP on staff. Unless something drastic happens, I will be with Dr. Brandon until she retires."

"I was so excited to find an African American, female gynecologist but the pictures of Dr. Rochelle Brandon on the website are misleading. She is very dry and has poor bedside manner. She shows no emotion, at all. Horrible with eye contact and I have visited her office twice to see if it was possible just one bad day for her but it’s not. That’s how she treats her patience. Since the pandemic going to the doctor and such is harder financially and I don’t feel like I was valued or even really looked after while I had my visits. The main receptionist seemed overworked too because she was also very short with me but with inflation and staff shortages I understand why she would. I will not be returning. I’m sorry, I value my health too much to spend my money somewhere that doesn’t even have the decency to communicate appropriately about my medical information. Really unfortunate for someone who is only interested in finding a female, African American gynecologist in Charlotte."
