"Very bad experience with a Priya Pillai, all my reports were wrongly stated. She asked me to take 300 mg of iron which is absolute blunder. When I looked up online no one is recommend to take over 45 mg. Thank god I doubt checked before taking and getting hospitalized. Do not trust her words you will end up in hospital."
"Priya Pillai is not worth being a doctor, I got all my test as per her suggestion. I was tested positive with neural defect of child. I was broken didn’t get appointment for 10 days for target scan. After finally when I did my target scan doc told me it’s Atrium doctors mistake. Their reason was they are under staffed. For which I had to get several scans. Blood work emotional trauma, consult with different fetal medicine doctors. I had to pay and suffer for their mistake. I would no recommend anyone to go visit a disqualified doctor. You shall suffer now or later I shifted to Novant."
"Dr. Pillai has the best bedside manner out of any doctor I've ever had. She's very warm and genuine and really knows her stuff. She truly cares about her patients. Highly, highly recommend her."
"Dr. Pillai saved my life. I did not even have any particular symptoms or problems, but at a yearly checkup, after a through exam and discussion about my family history, Dr. Pillai asked if she could do a few typical tests as well as a few that were outside the box. I thought I had simply mentioned some random facts about my family, but based on this, Dr. Pillai had some concerns. It turns out, I have a rare genetic issue that had already started it's silent mutation with NO symptoms whatsoever. I had a series of operations and procedures that saved my life. Period. Without Dr. PIllai taking a look at everything about me and my extended history, and taking the extra time to look at things no other doctor did, my kids have a Mom. In addition, because this is a genetic issue, I was able to get my children tested to make sure if they had issues we could tackle them immediately, and I was able to let my sibling know for his family to get tested. Dr. PIllai is not only a warm hearted, energetic, devoted doctor, but she is a doctor that takes the time to look at the whole puzzle. Even when, like me, you don't even KNOW you're a puzzle!!! I am carefully monitored now, and happy and healthy. I have great peace of mind, knowing that not only am I being taken care of, but my extended family is safe and healthy because Dr. Pillai took the time to look outside the box. I can not underscore this enough: I owe her my life."
"I had bad experience with my C section ended up in big complication, bleeding for 6 weeks with packing strips and pain, it was hard to hear the doctor say this is normal! And the after care sucks! I was treated like somebody complaining for pain, where my wound closed because of prescription given by another doctor from my home town. The recovery has affected my personal and professional life a lot, if there is a better care during surgery or better after care, I would have saved 3 years time!"
