"Look what I got at the Salvation Army! Just got this computer desk, large beveled mirror with gold frame, two shirts, two pillows, two huge cookbooks and these dishes for a total of only $44! I figure that the price if new would have been about $700 plus taxes! I'll be back . . . It's really fun! Retail stores can go jump in the lake. Or somewhere!"

"The lady at the front was very friendly but I just have to take off stars for the fact they priced a jacket they got for free at $130. That left a terrible taste in my mouth. That same jacket is online for $100 and, once again, it was used and a donation to them. Don’t donate high end items here if you want them to actually go to people in need. You’re better off selling that item yourself and giving the money to someone in need."

"The Salvation Army store, they have opened recently, in Conover, NC. In the old, Village Motors building, is an excellent place to visit. If you're needing clothes for the winter, or needing, some odd and end stuff, for your home and family? You just never know what you might find there, and you will get it for a cheap price? And, if your looking for used work clothes, pants, shoes, shirts or belts. Go ask the staff! The staff are very kind and you are guaranteed to find something you will like!"
