"When the Scottish Lion was running a Black Friday promotion, I contacted them about the possibility of ordering a Barnton cap in our family tartan which was a special order and I asked if it would be eligible for the discount and would I receive it in time for Christmas. I immediately received an email from the owner explaining that the cap hadn’t been offered because the supplier in Scotland wasn’t sure he could deliver it by Christmas due to Covid but that, if I wanted to take a chance, he would honor the discount, do everything he could to see that I received it before Christmas and that if it didn’t make it, he would refund my money. I am happy to say it arrived way before Christmas, was beautifully made and my husband was thrilled. It is rare to find such wonderful customer service and a company that delivers such a quality product. I highly recommend them."

"In mid December I ordered 2 kilts for my American grandsons to wear at a family wedding in Scotland on March 10. They should have arrived 6 weeks later, at the end of January, but I was told the shipment from Scotland was delayed. In the end, I had to pay an extra $80 shipping which got the kilts to the boys the day before they left. The quality of the kilts was good, but the service was very disappointing. After I posted the review above, the Scottish Lion agreed to forgive the shipping fee. They did put a lot of effort into making up for their supplier's mistake. The kilts were beautiful, and my American grandsons, wearing tartans belonging to my ancestral clans, were a hit at the wedding in St. Andrews. Bottom line: order custom kilts EARLY."

She loved it and wore it out to dinner last night for Valentine's! She has Scottish ancestry and we actually got married at Edinburgh Castle last April, so it was a great gift with lots of sentimental meaning. "Beautiful scarf and great customer service! I found the Scottish Lion Import Shop while looking online for family tartan scarf. I wanted real wool and something well made. It is exactly what I was looking for. The size is perfect, I am pretty tall so the length is good for me. It's so soft and the colors are beautiful! As for the customer service, my original order was taking longer than I thought it should, so I emailed and Innes sent another order which arrived within 2 days! The original order arrived yesterday, almost 2 months after I placed my order. The postal service had damaged the packaging, lost the order, repackaged and I finally received it. I appreciate Scottish Lion taking full responsibility for my order, no questions asked and sending me the scarf quickly in time for Christmas. It was not their fault at all, yet they made sure I received the scarf right away. I will shop here again. I'm looking at a shawl but have to decide on the plaid I want next. Thank you Scottish Lion!
