"Love the store and app, but this place was beyond cluttered. Tripping every other step and knocking things over, I don't complain much, but this was just ridiculous. Prices were fine, and staff was relatively friendly for the most part. A few seemed annoyed that we were there right after opening."

"*This store is small, older and outdated. *This location definitely needs an update on the Public Restroom. *Sometimes there are boxes of items in the middle of the aisles, which makes it difficult to get down aisles with a cart. *The employees need more time to be able to put items back where they belong and be able to restock items as needed. Maybe, an idea for this location is to hire one or two more people per shift. This way they can keep the store cleaned daily as needed, restock items as needed, and an employee available if a customer needs help as well. "Alot of time they are out or have limited quantities of household items, especially sale items and sometimes they don't get any more back in that week for the sale, they'll have it when it's off sale. *Keeping items ordered and on stock could improve. *I do love the digital coupons for Dollar General Store's! It's so easy and quick to add your digital coupons and save them to your account, and then when you are in the checkout lane, all you have to do is put in your phone number on your account and you can save some money on the top brands as well as Dollar General Store brand items if there is a coupon for them. "

"Always leave with more than I came in for. This store is particularly nice to shop in because their shelves are beautifully stocked. As with many places the only problem is they don't have enough stock. I must complain about Pedigree canned dog food. At the beginning of the Pandemic, I was buying it at DG for about a dollar a can for the largest can. Now it's $1.60 a can. I know the supplier & manufacturer have a lot to do with pricing but I hope DG is using its influence to contain this pricing because at my house, this is an "essential purchase." I will be forced to shop elsewhere if something isn't done about it. I have 2 DG stores within 7 miles of my home."

"Pretty basic store. Surprisingly good selection of merchandise, fair prices, but on the depressing side. Kinda dark, narrow isles, store needs a facelift."

"Store is way overstocked for its size, merchandise is literally spilling onto the floors. There is more product than shelf space. Employees are friendly and helpful, which is good especially since it can be difficult to find what you want. Store is in front part of old 84 lumber yard. Outside area is appalling. Small parking lot with very little lighting, no street lights provided by Oburg or Oswegotchie in the area even though there are businesses out towards Canton. Overgrown areas of Pompas Grass around the store which are on a separate piece of property with another owner. Store is small with run down storage bldgs outback. Dollar general should really consider a stand alone store like Heuvelton, Harrisville, Potsdam has. This store just ain't cuttin' it."
