"Husband and I did application. My husband got denied because of his credit. I got accepted. First off when I did a walk through with Katie she said we will be fine because we didn’t owe another property. Contacted them Saturday, and Erica said I could apply by myself and to call at 12pm Monday. Well here it is Monday she said I couldn’t apply, bc she thought my husband was gone live else where. I said he will in his truck he’s a CDL driver and drive home once a month and stay 2 days. She said I still could’nt do that because it will be an illegal occupant. I ask her how, if I make enough for the rent by myself. She said bc my husband Will be there. YEAH FOR ONLY 2 DAYS OUT THE MONTH!!! Hint when the property manager called she said a person has to be added to lease if they stay 17 or more consecutive days. But since my husband got denied, I they think he gone be living there. When I told her, put a camera in front of the door and tell me how many times you see him. The leasing agents aren’t on the same page, definitely take all questions to the leasing Manager because the agents are horrible. Definitely not equal opportunities here; judgmental! And will not recommend at all. Zero star Take your coins somewhere else !"
"Stacy has been the best property manager I've ever dealt with at apartment communities I've lived at. The community has gotten a lot better since going under new management and Stacy is a big reason why! The units are reasonably priced and the location is great. 10/10 recommend"
"A lot of the 5 star reviews are fake and that’s disappointing. It’s like the management are trying to cover up what’s really going on in these units. You can tell they are fake because they’re mentioning “enjoying the pool and clubhouse” when the pool is closed due to failed inspection with no open date as for July 25, 2023. This ain’t the fist or second year that the pool didn’t open in time for the summer. Yet it’s advertising and I’ve even seen them tour people out at the pool to minimize this big issues. Next we have bugs. Like every single unit does and pest control is $5 extra in your rent. You can schedule them to come spray but it doesn’t solve the issues. When you walk the property go see buildings that are occupied not the one just for touring. You’ll see filthy breezeways, covered with dead bugs and trash. The trash pick up has gotten better but sometimes that’s a hit or miss. You pay $30 extra on rent for valet trash and you will not get your trash picked up every time so get use to your garbage just sitting in front of your door. The mail room is in the clubhouse by the gym, ask to see that too and you’ll notice the door is either propped open or the machine to enter the room is out of order. It’s been like that for 2 years since they’ve installed it. You get a code sent as a text or email but 99% of the time the code doesn’t work and the door doesn’t open. Meaning you can enter the room to get your things. They’ll make it seem like the issue just happens, it’s been like this for 2 years. For the price it’s simply not worth the constant headache and switching of staff. No one is here from when I signed my lease. No one is even here from last year. All new staff every 3/4 months so don’t go off of that one staff member being nice. They will probably not be around in a couple of months."
"I’m not one to post negative reviews, but the management at Axis Crossroads has been a horrible experience and there are constant issues with the amenities they offer. For the second year in a row they have delayed opening the pool. They just sent an email today (6/13) stating that the pool renovations will take several more weeks and then it still has to pass an inspection. Why was this not taken care of earlier in the year? I will be very surprised if the pool is even open by Fourth of July. The management of the gym has been horrendous as well. Weights have been stolen from the gym and not replaced. One of the machines has been broken for over a year now and has a “repair in progress” sign on it with literally zero progress made to it. They also offer a “package hub” that is connected to the gym. It’s supposed to be opened via code to ensure safety of the residents’ packages. The system never works and the door is consistently propped open, allowing anyone inside. Given that property has been stolen from the gym, this concerns me that packages will also be stolen. The apartments are very noisy (can hear every movement of our upstairs neighbor) and seem to be poorly built. We were recently informed that the exterior stairwells need to be replaced and that precaution needs to be taken when using them. This is a safety hazard and unacceptable for the residents. Overall I am very disappointed in the management, especially given the price we pay."
"Aventura Crossroads and Lincoln Property Company clearly don't care about this community or its residents. This is the worst value in housing I've ever seen. If you have any self-respect, don't waste your time looking here; they will never respect you. It might be close to employers and retail, but it's far from luxury. The mailbox area has been unlit nearly the entire year I've lived here, except for a few random days. It's just unsafe and representative of the lack of care or effort the management puts into this property. I signed the lease on my apartment two months before I moved in and it was still unfinished. I've lived here a year, and more than half the issues I reported at move-in remain unresolved. There are outlets without covers, light switches without covers, mismatched faceplates, and crooked unpainted trim around the kitchen island, and loose fixtures. My dishwasher wasn't installed correctly and, despite having it "fixed", continues to fall over into my kitchen floor. Reporting anything to the leasing office is a waste of time. Complain about the noise? Get told to call the cops. Complain about the electrical problems in your apartment? It's Duke Energy's problem, even though nobody else's electricity goes out. Complain about maintenance not being responsive? Get gaslit about how responsive they really are. They excel at making you feel like an inconvenience in their day and that's assuming they even answer the phone. They usually don't answer the phone, at least for me. They failed to adequately maintain the sprinkler system, causing the controller (located outside, next to my bedroom) to sound a piercing alarm that was audible in my apartment 24 hours a day. This continued for months, only relieved by maintenance manually disabling the alarm daily, which I understand from the Fire Marshal they shouldn't have been doing at all. This was only resolved after calling the Town of Cary Fire Marshal multiple times to report this occurring in my building and nearly all the others on the property. Trash is allowed to gather all over the property, filling the common areas with the smell of rotting dog feces from the overflowing trash cans. Sometimes, when they do change the bags, they just leave them in front of the can, even next to the leasing office. The dog poop bag stations are frequently empty, vandalized, and in disrepair. Parking is an unmanaged mess. There is no towing company, from what I can tell. If you don't have a garage, assume you won't be able to park near your apartment. There are no assigned spaces for residents, leaving the lot a total free-for-all. The year I've lived here, there have effectively been no amenities. No package storage, no pool, no carwash until a couple of months ago when they removed the lock from the pump handle."
