"It’s been downhill since the name change from Chambers Ridge to River View. Half of the collateral (emails, maintenance requests, etc.) still says Chambers Ridge. It’s confusing. I have had multiple maintenance requests go unanswered until I call the emergency maintenance line. It didn’t exist as of August 2023 and I was given a staff member’s personal phone for emergencies. Now in September 2023, that person no longer works in the office. Who are residents supposed to contact for emergency maintenance? Unanswered Maintenance Requests My toilet kept running, resulting in a waste of water and extra expenses for me. There has a been a wasp nest outside my door for over a month that I keep waiting for the team to take care of. No Emergency Maintenance Line There is no emergency maintenance number. On Tuesday, August 8 at 7pm, my gooseneck faucet at the kitchen sink broke and caused to gush out under the sink for 10 minutes. I am currently am and was at the time on crutches. This was a nightmare situation. My fiancé and I (and a neighbor) tried calling the River View phone and it was literally shut down. SHUT DOWN. My fiancé was getting shocked by the garbage disposal trying to turn off the water under the sink. We finally turned off the water in the whole apartment via the main shut off. However, I was 7 days past a major surgery and can’t be without water that long. I found some phone tree number from a Chambers Ridge email in October before they were under new management and they sent out maintenance who arrived at 11:30 that night and fixed it. Communications Problems There are severe communication problems happening in the office, both with old staff and new. I left over three voicemails and sent an email about extending my lease. No one returned them. I had to walk into the office to be shown a piece of paper with a list of other fees including how to do month by month. The person helping me didn’t know how to officially extend my lease and there was no follow up from someone who actually knew how to help. Additionally, upon move out, I notified the office via email of my move out date. They still have not responded to a question about fees two weeks later, even with me sending a follow-up email. This was even after they sent a notice to all residents in September 2023 that new staff was in the office and communication problems would supposedly be fixed. Yikes! I do not recommend River View."
"to all that have had negative things to say- yes, it was not the best transition from one management to another, but that is not the fault of the current management. They have been nothing but helpful, responsive, and caring. Dillon has been very patient and understanding with any questions i’ve had and patrick, the maintenance man, is very helpful and kind. the apartments are clean, spacious for what they are, and the renovated ones are absolutely fantastic. There is always parking and I truly have never felt safer in an apartment complex. I can sleep with the window open at night and I have. The water is always hot, the AC has always turned on for me, and patrick has come to my assistance in dire situations. I really do feel cared about in the eyes of the management. I am truly glad Dillon has taken charge of the complex. He has a lot to take on after the previous, neglectful owners so please note these issues mentioned here are currently being eradicated and were left over from previous management. That is at least how i feel and what i have noticed for living here for a year."
"I was a recent resident here and am so sad to leave. As soon as I moved in the property manager greeted me and made sure that I was settled into the community. Throughout my stay if I ever had any issues the team was quick to respond and resolved any issues in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants a clean, safe, and comfortable environment to come home to."
"Not worth it. It used to be a good place but management changes here every year or two. The gym is so tiny only 2 people can fit in it comfortably. The pool is always filthy and only stays open for a month before they close it. It’s not safe anymore either. A police officer has to live in the complex with his patrol car parked out front to deter crime. People are loud at night and hang out in the parking lots yelling. Landscaping is there 3 times a week making noise. There’s always construction going on. There is only one maintenance person and getting anything fixed is a hassle. When management says they need to do preventative maintenance and tell you the dates they will be entering your unit, it could be any time of the day and they may or may not even show up at all. Pest control will just enter your unit even though they don’t work for River View ( a complete stranger will be inside your home with no supervision if you’re not there). It used to be a quiet peaceful place but now I wouldn’t recommend this place to a mouse. Stay away!!"
"This area is very nice and quiet, but the owners of the apartment complex are very inconsiderate, can’t get anyone on the phone when need them, and just recently, started a renovation without any notice. Roof renovation at that, my roof wasn’t leaking, so it’s not a repair, it’s renovation, and these workers worked up until 7:30pm. Came in from work thinking I’m goin relax, that was wishful thinking. Everything in the apartment was shaking things falling from the ceiling, it was rough. You have to prepare someone to deal with stuff like this. It’s so wrong."
