"Please be cautious with renting from housevending. The staff was pleasant however tom the slum Lord is a thief. They use cheap paint so they can take your deposit upon moving out. They charge 670 to repaint a 900 square foot home. They left us without a working oven for 4 months. They painted the bathtub to cover up black mold. After a few showers the paint was peeling off. I reported that also which was ignored. I could go on however i just would like to warn future renters. I fulfilled my obligation and paid rent on time for a 12 months lease and it is day 23 and I am still contacting tom for my deposit. If you have other options to rent from i highly recommend other choices. If you must rent from housevending. Please take my advice and take pictures and video tape the entire house and yard. Tom will find any way to keep your money. Addendum 9.21.18 . I finally received a partial deposit approx 7 weeks after moving out. He requested I change my review. I disagree. Please be cautious, it was hard work getting my deposit back."
