"I had an appointment with Hewitt to get my car inspected. They got me in within the week and I just dropped off my car in the morning and they called me a couple hours later to say it was done! They were incredibly friendly and it was a fantastic experience overall. I'm relatively new to the city so I am excited to find a great place close by to take my car. Highly recommend! Editing 2 years later: I still take my car to Hewitt (now Carreros, different owner, same guys) and they are still awesome. Cheapest place to get a full synthetic oil change, and they do a great job and are still just as friendly and pleasant to deal with."

"Absolutely excellent service - honest and knowledgeable. I asked them to take a look at my broken A/C & vibrating brakes. With the A/C they spent a decent chunk of time on it, the owner was really apologetic that he had to charge me because there was nothing they could do to fix it without it becoming a money pit. Despite the brakes vibrating he said it was all totally safe and not an issue at all - I have no idea what I'm doing so they could have easily made up a bunch of stuff & I would have paid for whatever. I plan on taking my car back here for all work from now on."

"I was back in Buffalo to visit family when my car made a weird noise and from then on the check engine light was on.. It seemed to be driving OK but I wanted it checked before my long drive home. I went to a different garage first and they told me to see if my spark plugs had been replaced since buying the car. IF not, it was probably that. If so, they would need to do more which would be even more expensive. I luckily found all the great reviews on-line for Hewitt International and decided to give them a call. Right from the start they listened and told me to bring it by the next day so they could just take a look at it. They were extremely friendly, helpful and found nothing wrong except a misfire that was probably a fluke since the computer said it was an error. They reset my check engine light and said they thought it was fine and if I had any other issues to call and they would get it in. They did not even charge me for their time. What more can I say!!!! They are an honest, efficient, professional but friendly group that knows what they are doing. I wish I had them in my hometown and have recommended them to my family who lives there!. "I brought my car to be inspected. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They looked over the car and called with a report of what needed to be done. They did not try and sell more work than needed to be done and were very helpful in advising us on work that would be beneficial to have done in the future. Work was quality and done efficiently. Great prices."

"Very helpfu! Went in for a pre-purchase car inspection & they were very quick to schedule me in & look at the car. They were also on time with keeping my appointment. Bob & Dale were also very accommodating to my schedule as I had to return to work instead of staying for the entire inspection. I love when owners answer their company's phones, & the guys here always answer the phone! Will have to write about them again after I get some kind of work done on my car in order to rate them on their level of know-how & professionalism. But until then, I am very happy with this auto shop."
