"The rooms are horrible in sandcastle!! I mean just don't, I walked in and walked right back out! Dead roaches, mold on bedding, dirty!!! We were moved to another location was a little better, they were atleast a bit updated. Such a shame with the location being right on the beach!! Outside pools were green and nasty! Will never stay here again! The only good thing I can say was the staff was wonderful and did move us!"

"Warning ⚠️ To whom ever would like to rent rooms from this location. Don't go by the pictures that is on the website. These pictures was taken when the hotel was first built. The way they are now is very run down. If I could get away with not scoring on anything they would not get a score, only on location which was good. Here are the reasons why? The reason for the review: My trip date was 09/14-18/2023. 1) the elevator and hall smells bad and is in need of a good cleaning. 2) Upon entering my room it was not the room that I requested because it was supposed to be a full kitchen in the suite was not. 3) There was so many flying gents in this room, we open the microwave their in there, we we had to bag and tie up everything, The floors was dirty, Bathroom was dirty, trash can dirty. I had to go out and buy cleaning products and a broom to clean the room. Called the management she tells me I can reimburse me $50 on my room. Unacceptable!!!!!! After paying $519.40 to stay in an poor environment of a resort, Give me back Half my money. This room made our vacation feel likei doing your job. 4) Requested a ironing boards from quest service, this was Saturday it is now Sunday still none of the items showed up. (This after I get a text from them welcome my to this resort and anything you need doing your stay let use know). I did you Guest Service is poor service. 5)AC sounds like a generator starting and stoping, and coming out of ceiling when it comes on and goes off scaring me and my mom."

"Do NOT book here!! The place is a dump and not so very helpful staff. I stayed 4 nights and 5 days. Never once was I brought trash bags, toilet paper, towels. I had to go buy some!! They told me to contact my host. Never once was I told who my host was. There was rust covering my AC unit on the outside. The hallways stink and the carpets are severely stained. This place is so cheaply made. My lock up on the top broke off when we tried to lock it. There is absolutely 0 room service here even though my card was charged for cleaning fees. And if you ask them why they will tell you they are not a hotel.. The bathtub never drained. The shower stored water the whole time and it will eventually go down 20 minutes later. They have me a number to contact the “host” and they told me they can’t get anyone to me to bring towels and toilet paper. I have to wait a few days because they are busy. Go to a nicer resort or hotel. We found a nicer RESORT! for cheaper with excellent reviews. The water park is disgusting and the lifeguards do not care about you there. They had headphones in and watching their phone the whole time. I will never stay here again."

"We have stayed for the past four years but this year was our last. All the complaints I read were true. They did offer to refund my resort fees but I still don’t show a credit on my card. We had roaches and the ocean front door wouldn’t open. No towels. Apparently there is a shortage. I did ask for roach spray and was told to buy it at Walmart and bring the receipt back to see if I could get reimbursed. Pools were horrible. I cleaned the cigarette butts out myself so my son could swim. Lifeguards at water park were only interested in their telephone and did nothing to clean the messy grounds. No hot tubs. No indoor pools. Water park closed most days. Vomit remained at the elevator for the entire week we were there. I tried to get a refund to go elsewhere but they refused. Don’t stay there. The manager is nice. The office staff is nice. The front counter manager, April, had a wonderful work ethic. They can only work with what they have available and apparently their new owners aren’t offering any accommodations."
