Kingston Plantation Condos

"There was several hairs in my bed and on the pillow. They promptly came in and changed the sheets. Buffet breakfast was cold. The omelets were great. The staff was very friendly."

"Only complaint here was it was cold. They were a little slow getting the place heated but once that was ongoing, things were pretty good. Food was pretty decent. Could have used some more seasoning. Vegan options available but I wouldn't necessarily recommend. I am, however, new to veganism mind you."

"Its a beautiful place but our hallway was freezing. The only place that felt like they had heat was in the room. Everywhere else in the hotel was uncomfortable because it was already cold outside in the hallways and sitting areas were cold as well. Breakfast was a little crazy better get there first if you expect a seat."

"This is a notice to beware when booking condos/rooms at the Kingston Plantation. I reserved a room for a work conference and was booked next door at the South Hampton. DO NOT STAY HERE! I was alone due to it being a work function. The door to the hotel is just an open wall, with no closure. Nobody works at this hotel. If you need anything, you must go to the Embassy Suites next door. It seemed as if nobody was there. I felt like I wasn't supposed to be there. The door to my room did not have a separate lock to keep people from coming in. The door to the balcony didn't lock, and the connecting/adjoining room door did not lock fully. I had to pull the desk in front of the door to ensure nobody came in. I left a day early due to no sleep and feeling unsafe. Again, please don't book here."

"Lackluster at best. The property is beautiful and well-kept. The location on the beach is great and amenities like the pool & fitness center are excellent. But the lodging was sub par and service is too. We paid for an upgrade and it was certainly not worth it; just an extra bedroom. The room lacked supplies like hand towels in the kitchen and TVs didn’t work properly, nor did they have instructions how to use the cable. There was no diamond recognition at check in and our questions seemed like a bother by two different staff. The only diamond benefit given was $30 F&B credit. But that hardly offset the parking fee that was not shared at check in either. Not a place we’d return to. (But I’ll add that the Embassy Suites hotel looked very nice). NOTE: credit to property and Hilton for reaching out after I responded to their customer survey about our stay."
