"Nice for a cheap stay. However there are reasons it's cheap. Rooms are not cleaned well between guests. We found receipts and other papers of previous guests in drawers. The bathroom had stains that we had to remove ourselves when we checked in. Our ceiling fan was missing a light bulb. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly. Just be careful not to leave anything and ask that your room be thoroughly cleaned before you arrive."

"I agree with another review on here. I would say any reviews before 2019 pretty much need to be disregarded. They are in the process of a massive renovation. We stayed here last week of May (2019) . They weren't done with renovations. They didn't have breakfast available at the time of our stay due to the lobby not being finished but the rooms were great, very comfy beds and pillows as well. A very friendly staff. We had no problems with our stay. We paid about 50$ a night. I'm sure prices won't stay that low forever once they are done and back to running business as usual. The largest flat screen TVs I've seen for a hotel room as well."

"The older reviews are no longer valid in my opinion. The hotel has gone through a total renovation and should be finalized by the first week of June 2019. The rooms were clean, very modern, and comfortable. I thought that there were plenty of pillows, and the down blankets were nice and warm. They provide plenty of towels, but were a little light on provided soap. I'm sure in the next two weeks the exterior of the building will be finished, and the breakfast area will be ready as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during our stay and they apologised for any small issue during construction. For the price and location, I think you would be silly to not stay here."

"Staff were nice. The rooms left a lot to be desired. Not very clean. When we arrived at our room there was fresh blood just outside the door. The doors have gaps all around and stick really bad and are also hard to lock (deadbolt wouldn't lock). No chain lock on the door. Rooms are bare (nothing on the walls) and no hangers or even a hook to hang clothing on. Bathroom is tiny and smelled musty. Room was not clean and had crumbs all over the floor. Bed sheets were clean."

"Best rate for the area, and was not as bad as other reviews made it seem. I only needed to stay for one night. It's an older hotel, but the location is good and the stay was comfortable. It had everything you'd expect from a mid range hotel. Clean towels, bathroom was small but functional, cleaned surprisingly well. We checked in early and the front staff was very nice about it. Our room faced the front and had a beautiful view, but the other sides don't have that luck. There is a new patio area by the front with a generous amount of tables and chairs, good for enjoying a drink and taking in the scenery or unwinding. Room did have a bit of a musty smell but it was nothing horrible. Overall, probably a safe bet for someone just passing or staying a quick couple nights, but look elsewhere for long stays."
