"• Room didn't feel clean, given we found 2 dead roaches. We came in tired after a trip, so we were not in the mood to raise stink or look for another hotel. It shows that it doesn't get vacuumed here too well. We asked the front desk to come vacuum them at least and it felt like we were asking them something outrageous. Even the room itself beyond this was clean, it's tough to see it as clean once you find roaches."

"I loved my stay here. My room was humongous and clean. The bathroom was also humongous. It had dual sinks. The tub had jets like a jacuzzi. There's a small kitchen area with a sink. My bed and pillows were very comfortable. Didn't have time to check out breakfast, but it was your typical spread with sausage, eggs, cereal, etc. Hopefully, I'll have another opportunity to stay here. No complaints or concerns. There are a few restaurants nearby that deliver as well as a gas station, auto repair shop, and a number of other businesses. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend this location."

"Hotel turned out to be a nightmare. In the same lot as a gas station and along the main road, did not feel safe parking my car there overnight. Made a reservation online and when I went to go check in the hotel staff brought out a flyer saying that there is a mandatory deposit.. when I mentioned to the staff that I didn't feel comfortable having a deposit charge to my card she took both my ID and my debit card and threw it at me and told me to get out. Could not understand why she was so hostile. I'm glad I didn't stay here and we'll never"

"Overall, I was really **under**whelmed, which was really surprising based on the large number of positive reviews. It really wasn't anything special. Positives: The staff was friendly, there were chocolate chip muffins at breakfast and it was a straight shot to downtown Raleigh if you're commuting. Negatives: It was not particularly clean as other reviews stated. There were stains on the couch and table in my room and I had to kill a roach in my second evening. There also was not any fresh fruit at breakfast, mostly just carbs."
