"Exceptional in so many ways. A day before my first backpacking trip, I visited the store to get advise on gear I had already purchased - which of the two backpacks to use, how to setup my tent. I also needed a few items. Frank (store associate) patiently answered all my questions and offered expert advice to set my mind at ease. Over the course of my visit, multiple customers joined the conversation - some newbies like me, others sharing personal advice. I walked out feeling like I had it all together, plus with the items I was missing. And my trip went fantastic. Frank, you are a rock star! Delighted that this locally owned store exists in my city and will happily give them my money next time I need gear."

Pricing is good and on par with online and big box retailers. There is plenty of parking and the store is easy to find across from the boulevard mall. I'm glad to see their new location up here in Amherst."
