"Fantastic location within very easy walking distance of downtown. The hotel itself is older and could do with some updates, but the rooms are clean and the prices are by far the best."

"Overall: The services and hotel itself were fine, but being right off noisy Patton ruined our stay. The good: Staff was friendly and helpful, and they have free breakfast. The room, bed, and bathroom were fine, and the they have a fridge. Sure it's a little small and dated but it met my expectations when reserving, given the price The not-so-good: I felt like the Grinch with all the noise, noise, noise, noise. Apparently Asheville has a racing scene, because every night was filled with dragsters and speeders flying down Patton Ave right next to the hotel. Huge glass windows don't help dampen that at all. Then there's buses that drop off right next to the hotel as well, and a beeping crosswalk that says "wait" every 2 minutes. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep at all."

"Honestly this place was great! We weren’t looking for anything fancy, we just wanted a clean place that was walking distance to bars and restaurants and that’s exactly what we got! If you’re not super picky and you want a cheap clean place to stay this is it. The girl working the reception was SO sweet and working very hard to get everyone accommodated. Don’t let the reviews scare you away saying it’s sketchy/a sketchy area. It’s truly not lol. If you’re used to city life and/or are someone wants to walk around and experience the downtown culture, this location is great. Never felt unsafe once."

"You get what your pay for. It was a decent place to stay for a lower price. The staff was very kind but we had a less than average experience. It's definitely the least expensive and great location but it is not well maintained, inside we kept smelling residue of smells from the carpet, the bed was uncomfortable the sheets were rough. It was clean and we knew that this was a lower rate and expected less, but we did not expect the fire alarm to go off all early morning. We decided to go check out the breakfast options there are no eggs or fruit, but they do have cereals and waffles. We will definitely save a bit more and go to a different hotel but if you're on a budget be prepared to stay at a budget inn."

"This inn is just fine. The location was ideal and the service was very personable. We arrived early and got a parking pass well before check-in. I appreciate this offering. This is a motel. That is to say you entered your room from outside and not from an internal hallway. I missed the crucial detail when booking. Other than that, it’s clean but old. The elevators and small and old. The rooms are old. You can hear water from other rooms run through the pipes. You can hear the beeping of the crosswalk in the room. You cannot top the location’s walkability to restaurants, bars, and local shopping."
