"While our room had a nice gas fireplace, unfortunately, it failed to function properly. Despite emitting a promising starter flame, it did not fully ignite. We notified the front desk about the issue, and they assured us that a maintenance staff member would address it while we were out. Disappointingly, no one arrived. After telling them the next morning upon checkout, the response was merely, "I'll make a note of it." I mentioned the same on their internal customer feedback forms and asked to be contacted. No surprises anymore at this point - nobody reached out. Our experience fell short of the promised Hampton 100% satisfaction guarantee."
"This was the worst Hilton property stay I have had. Staff not courteous, things like shampoo, shower gel etc not filled. Was not offered water included in my Hilton honors membership. Got a call at 1130 pm from front desk that I could go down and get shampoo and shower gel which consisted of a small bar of facial soap. Took 2 days for the others to get replenished. Key cards consistently not working. Digital key did not work at pool and hot tub. Had to have maintenance come and open the door. Phone in room did not work."
"The room is extremely dark. It doesn't have enough lights, and no overhead light. It was difficult to even go through my bags because of it. You literally have to drag your bag close to one of the lamps if you are looking for something when there is no daylight to help you or you don't want to open the curtains. Another complaint is that the bathroom doors CANNOT be locked. That is, you have to tell other people you are sharing the room with to not open the door and just rely on that. That made me and my husband uncomfortable. Imagine having to do that with a friend or anybody whom you are not married with. Everything else is good. Breakfast is good, the size of the room was good, and the people that work there are good too. But honestly, those two things mentioned made us consistently upset."
"Location was nice to be so close to downtown. But our beds were so firm. Whats the point of an indoor pool if its not heated. Fire place outside was nice. The creek behind the hotel was very relaxing."
"We had an excellent stay with our grandsons on the busy Veterans Day weekend. Although there is construction for a new hotel behind it, we did not hear any noise in our balcony room on the 3rd floor. We appreciated the Diamond room upgrade. It came in handy for the 4 of us. All employees that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was well stocked with a good variety of options for a busy weekend. Free parking is a great perk for the area."
