Wigwam Motel & Craft Shop 1431 Tsali Boulevard, Cherokee, NC 28719

"This review is for the Wigwam Craft Shop. I did not stay at the motel. The shop had lots of things to browse. They had Minnetonka Moccasins for children and adults, dream catchers, coffee mugs and t-shirts. They also had a whole room of Christmas items. I think that was probably my favorite part of this shop."

"Stay every year live going up to see leaves change, homestead, Peter Pan cakes and staying at the wig-wam hotel this was the last place we stayed before my husband passed lots of memories. Owners are so nice best place to stay"

"We stayed at this hotel for a total of one hour and we found bugs and cockroach poop and a pill in the floor. when calling the after hours number and telling the owner about it, she came very quick and apologized profusely and gave me my refund."

"This place is cheap but it is NASTY! We called to reserve the room the night before so they held our card. When we arrived we asked if the rooms were clean and they said yes most definitely. We paid and when we entered the room there was a foul odor and then the first thing we noticed was a BUG on the bed. We then walked into the bathroom and discovered the toilet handle was broke and no way to flush it. As we walked out we wiped the table off around where the TV was sitting and honestly there was a half inch of dirt/dust on it. We then nicely asked for a refund and told them the situation and they would not refund anything. I have stayed in a lot of motels and this was the most filthy motel and very unfriendly and rude staff/owners. Would not recommend this motel at all."

"We stay there every time we go last time I took my 2 granddaughters who LOVED the place. There 1st visit to a motel and to NC they loved every moment of it eating a Peter Pan cakes and staying at the wigwam. The girls loved it so much they hugged the owners before we left made me feel goo they enjoyed the homestead motel swimming in the cold water in the creek it's amazing to see my family love the place as much as myself and husband before he passed that is where he wanted to go and stay at the wigwam and eat at peter pancake , the homestead grits meal it was wonderful memories and would not trade for anything. Memories of a life time for the champion family"
