"It is the condition of the trail that I am rating, not the destination. Gregory Bald is a beautiful place and a must-see spot in the GSMNP when the rhodendron are in bloom. But, the Gregory Ridge Trail has suffered greatly from the lack of maintenance over the years with lack of funding to the park. Hopefully that's going to be addressed..."
