Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park

"Awesome views. Pools and hot tubs were great but on 2 separate days the attendants could not communicate with patrons! Couldn't answer people's questions so I helped some as I could. Room was loud. Sounded Luke the neighbors were in our unit. The timeshare presentation lasted 5 hours even after almost 3 I told the guy we didn't care what the price is becouse we were not impressed. 5 hours for a 90-120 minute presentation?? Wasted a day and he was like a pit bull. Rude to waste our day. Never will I return. Wilderness in the Smokies is much better. And they don't try and sell you a 1 bedroom 1 week vacation for $90,000!!!! That's nuts."

"This is a timeshare. If you are not an owner and don't want the sales pitch don't come here. That said, I own here and love everything about it, from the rooms to the staff to the location to daily events the family can do. This is a first class place."

"Nice resort. Newly built and amenities are pretty nice as well. Spa and marketplace was priced up but the liquor store on site was reasonable had a great selection. Arcade and gym are small but still a nice benefit of staying on resort. Everyone is nice mainly because they want you to buy a time share and be careful they claim it will take 90 minutes and it ends up being 4.5 to 5 hrs. If you do not want to buy they will belittle you and will try to make you feel bad about your life decision when they do not have to live it for you. All in all the resort was clean and well taken care of."

"Our family trip was good, the worse part was my son and his fiance were held 4 hours in a timeshare presentation that was supposed to be 90 minutes. They are timeshare owners at another Westgate Resort. They should not have had to keep saying no, we are not interested well past that 90 minutes. Family members set through the presentation, and they kept them almost 5 hours. They tried not to give them their incentive for going to the presentation once they said no to purchasing a time share. The tv went out 2 of the 7 days we were there."

"A lovely mini vacation with the girls in the mountains. Absolutely loved the in-ground heated pool and the hot tub next to it. The water park was nice and also had a heated section that led outside. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy for most of that weekend. So the zip line was not open and we didn't have time for the mini golf. Otherwise, it was an amazing getaway! We will definitely be staying again soon."
