"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Candlewood Suites Hotel Knoxville Airport-Alcoa, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have an exceptional stay. First and foremost, the staff at this hotel are simply outstanding. They are not only knowledgeable about the area and its attractions, but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was impressed by their willingness to assist with any request and their genuine care for the guests' comfort and satisfaction. Their warm and personable approach made me feel like a part of their extended family. The cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were impeccable. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a spotless and well-appointed space that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was evident throughout my stay. The comfortable beds, fresh linens, and well-maintained furnishings added to the overall comfort of my stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is the sense of community and belonging it fosters. The hotel and staff create an atmosphere where guests feel like they are part of a family. The genuine care and personal touch provided by the staff create a warm and inviting ambiance that is often hard to find in other hotels. "Roach infested, the small German roaches. Keep your luggage in the car and when leaving bag all your clothes in plastic until you can wash them. Going by the dust on top of the fridge etc. I’d say it’s been weeks since it was throughly cleaned. The HVAC is a complete joke. One unit in the main room and a fan in the bedroom wall to supposedly draw air in. Fan didn’t shut off and sounded like a roaring jet engine, ALL NIGHT LONG. Wonder how many college graduates it took to dream up that system? We had a “handicap” suite by default and noticed the tub was a conventional side step over and you can’t reach the kitchen sink. Again, how many college graduates thought through that? None of the doors latched without force and the mattress was a covered washboard. The third floor hall way smells like a wet dog and the first floor smelled like there’s sewer leak. STAY AWAY!!"

"The room was very modern. The location is great. However, the room wasn't spotless which is ok but there was some hard dried on food/liquid in the counter. The bath's plug had been removed and there was a stain on a face cloth. Overall it's a great stay but just a few things could be improved."

"The front desk staffers are super friendly with excellent hospitality. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable. Seems very updated and clean overall. It’s very convenient to the airport. Technically right across the road. Shuttle service is definitely available. There are several places to eat within walking distance. A little secluded which brings me peace."

"This was probably the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Really disappointed in IHG for this one. The women at the front desk was professional and kind when we asked for bedding items. Our 2nd bed came with no sheets or Pillows. Every towel in the room was stained and not clean stains. Fresh. Nasty stains that smelled extremely bad. The room was covered in dirt, dust and grime. I couldn't believe it. If it wasn't after 11pm with a 7am flight I would have left. The hallways carpets were disgusting and smelled horrible. Seriously, I was extremely underwhelmed at this location.. I've been a IHG Platinum member for 10 years and have stayed at plenty of their properties and can say that this one needs a lot of help. Great location though."
