The Reynolds Mansion

"We went in October to get married there and it was a great experience. Paul and Mirlin are wonderful hosts! The breakfast was excellent and they even made the effort to accommodate one of us being vegetarian without us having to ask. The bed was actually really comfortable and the first time I have ever slept well when away from home. The location was perfect for us, we wanted more of a relaxed atmosphere away from downtown but also a short drive from the things we wanted to do. We will definitely be back."

"My partner and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast prior to our stay at The Reynolds Mansion, but it is safe to say that our stay here turned us into bed and breakfast people. Not only was the property beautiful and historic, but the hosts, Paul and Mirlin, were so inviting and easy to talk to. We shared wonderful conversations with them and the other guests each morning over breakfast, which was divine. After each course, I was so full I didn't think I could eat any more but it was so delicious I couldn't help it! We travel to Asheville often to visit family/friends and will be staying at The Reynolds Mansion again whenever we are in the area."

"My husband and I stayed at The Reynolds Mansion for the weekend of our first anniversary and had a marvelous time! The mansion features many comfortable nooks to relax in, spacious rooms, and a beautiful overlook of the surrounding mountains. Even more memorable are The Reynolds Mansion owners and hosts, Paul and Merlin, who excel in their professionalism and personability. The four-course breakfast service that Paul and Merlin provided was by far the most impressive we have seen: it is clear, both in plating and taste, how much attention and pride goes into each entree. The couple take their time to get to know you and your interests and are ready with recommendations for dining and excursions around Asheville. We look forward to staying at The Reynolds Mansion the next time we're in town!"

"Really loved our stay here. The mansion itself is gorgeous and full of history. It was absolutely the right choice to stay here instead of a generic hotel room. Paul and Mirlin were fantastic hosts. Super knowledgeable and generous with their time. Service was top notch. Some of our biggest highlights were the (delicious) 4-course breakfasts every morning — it was really nice to meet and mingle with other visitors at Reynolds Mansion. Strong recommend!"
