The Distillery Restaurant Mt. Hope

"Great place when you want that good bar food! Never been disappointed in service and I've been going there for 20+ years. This last time there was a rude football watching customer which started to irritate me but can't blame Distillery for other people's bad manners"

"Had a high school group of friends gather. Gia B was the best server as she hustled to take care of over 20 of us by herself. She was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be back!"

"I’ve been to the distillery many times and to multiple locations but this one is my favorite because of the quality of service provided. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, I don’t usually remember my servers names but since I’ve been to this location so many times I’ve gotten to know some of the people who work there and Cassandra never fails to provide exceptional service, she always greets me with a smile and checks in frequently to make sure I’m satisfied with my meal. She’s never short or rude with me but during slower times in the restaurant she takes the time to chat with me which is nice because I usually dine alone after a long day at work so I have a few drinks before going home."

"Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was quite good. Homemade potato chips were crunchy and crispy and were very good. The waiter was polite however he took a while to pick up our check. He was helping out in the kitchen so maybe they are short-staffed like everywhere. Can't really hold that against him."

"Middle of the pack restaurant in the college town, serving a range of "core" dishes, i.e. burgers, wings, pizzas, and occasional steaks. Our food came out at the same time. Everything was warm. Not hot, nor cold, just warm. We waited for some time for them. We suspected the staff held them back under the heat lamp while they gathered the order together. The Caesars salad with chicken was "bland", the fish sandwich was borderline cold, tasted dry. The steaks lacked flavor and a bit dry. The "awarded winning" wings were very dry, like they had time to soak up the heat under under the lamp. The place has a charms of a college hangout and has a menu that covers some bases that could serve as a joint for older crowds to gather on a parent weekend. Service was adequate for the weekday's night."
