French Pub

"French Pub was always a good place to dine and close to home. Last 2trips there were less than fair. Dinner with a cousin, we both ordered pork chop dinner. Very dry chops, no veggie just mashed potatoes and NO APPLESAUCE. Went there again last week. Ordered turkey club….all turkey, one slice of tomato, hardly any lettuce or bacon. My friend ordered a Rueben that was all meat, she couldn’t find the sauerkraut or cheese. So, neighborhood favorite place has changed."

"I’ve been coming to French Pub since I was a kid. Great selection of pub grub and Buffalo staples. Beef on Weck was tasty, just a little dry. Love the option of beef on Weck + chicken finger/wing combo. A little odd that fries cost extra on top of some already pricey sandwiches. Pizza logs and blood orange margs were delicious. Love the free popcorn. Miss the salad bar!! Outstanding service by Ari!!"

"Good bar food, but it’s not excellent. I came here because I’ve heard great reviews from people in the Buffalo area but I didn’t think the food was that great. I liked that they give you popcorn to start. I ordered the beer cheese soup since a lot of the reviews mentioned it (6.5/10)."

"The menu is perfect with something for everyone. Food is always well prepared and full of flavor. Soups are delicious. The staff is welcoming and takes wonderful care of you making sure you are pleased with your experience. Time has passed and French Pub is still my go to! The Osso Bucco topped the menu! Perfectly prepared, plated and priced. Mouth watering dish you won’t want to miss!"

"1st time here last night, sat at the bar because of a 10 mn wait with visible tables empty. Bar was great time filled with regulars. Robert the bar tender was spot on! Great service, attitude. I had french onion crock and a house salad, soup was great, salad was ok but lacking in green leaves compared to the salad brought out next to me. My wife had the fried pickle appetizer and beer cheese soup. Both were good. Over all a good experience,"
