"At some point knowledge needs to count for something. How many retailers will spend as much time with you, educating you on the best practices for your swimming pool investment. It’s not easy being a brick and mortar business. Trying to sustain with companies like Amazon underselling everyone while they pay little to operate. It must take every bit of them. Have you ever tried calling Amazon for help on an item?..or to ask a question on how you should take care of your pool? Have they helped? Never Customer service is one thing , taking time with you week after week is exceptional service-especially in times like these where asking for the time of day gives you a grimace. They might not be as cheap as Amazon or walmart -but what you do get is real time help and commitment to everything they sell. Where do you find that? I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff at Pool Xperts. Doug , the owner , is a pool balancing guru. He will will stay with you on any problem until remedied. Pool Xperts is the local “general store” for pool products. Always friendly -always caring about your summertime pool fun. It’s a big investment, don’t shortchange the life of your pool. Pool Xperts is the only choice in Charlotte for pool products."

"They are very knowledgeable in the pool industry. My biggest issue is when it comes to buying there chemicals. I had a pool put in late last year and was given chemicals to get started. I brought my water to get tested and was questioned where I buy my products after a few tests. I explained how I had a lot of products to still be used then would purchase more. After a few water tests this seemed to be a trend, getting questioned about where I buy my stuff and had to explain my situation every time. Then I started noticing when they are testing your water the owner is looking you up on there system about all your purchases you made. My last visit I was questioned once again and made it pretty uncomfortable. Explaining how the tests cost them so much and they only support people that buy from them, which I totally understand. But don't keep asking when I explained my situation multiple times. I guess they wanted me to buy items to just sit around while I'm still finishing up what I still have. Maybe just charge a fee to get a water test so you don't have to grill everyone about this? I saw it done with others as well. So if your looking to purchase items from them they will love you. When spring time comes to purchase all my pool products I guess I'll be bringing my business elsewhere."

"My first experience with the shop was when they were sent out by Pentair to fix malfunctioning equipment on my pool. The technician was on time, polite, thorough in his work, and extremely competent. He did notice a few other issues, but instead of "hard selling" me on them he suggested when it would be best to tackle them and how. Since my first experience I've been to the store several times. They have free water testing using a computer to get more accurate readings and the results are on a sheet with simple to follow directions in the order you need to complete them. In addition, I've met the owner there a few times and he has always been courteous and polite and helpful."
