"My husband and I were shopping at HomeGoods on Tuesday. We found a brushed semi white basket. Clearly it had a chip out of the inside of the basket. We asked if they had another one, a clerk said no, they are all displayed. We wanted this one because it went with the two towels we picked out in HomeGoods. I’m making a raffle summertime basket. At the register, my husband asked for a discount. The basket was $19.99. He showed the clerk the gouge in the basket. The clerk was so rude, and made a big deal about it. She had NO interpersonal skills. She said this is already a discounted place, I told her do you mean discounted damaged place? My husband went to talk to the manager, and she gave him a $1 off. I’ll paint it and fix it…..After shopping at HomeGoods for years, I am disappointed with the treatment we received from this cashier clerk. She needs a lesson in ‘Interpersonal Skills’."
"Worst experience ever due to one employee. My husband accidentally knocked something over with the shopping cart, apologized to the person working there and bent down to pick it up. Nothing was broken. The employee picked it up first and gave him a dirty look. He thanked her multiple times as did I say Thank you. She just stared and gave us a dirty look. Then she got up to walk away and she herself knocked something over on the shelf looked at it and walked away. I picked it up for her and she kind of stormed away. We chalked it up to her having a bad day. Later when we checked out, she re-appeared and started to tell the check out clerk about how she hates rude men. We turned to leave with our purchases and she hollered at us to come back and get our cart and put it away. We had placed our cart where several other carts had been placed. I turned to her and said we will leave it there in exchange for her rudeness to us. She did this to no other customer. We have no idea what we did to this woman to treat us this way. But she was a very unwelcoming start to our Myrtle Beach vacation."
"Today I was there and I was experiencing dizziness, sweating and breathless. I was at the register when the beautiful lady with a pear shaped diamond ring and had an accent that said to get a water and to sit down and rest. I did until I felt better. Kudos, kisses and hugs to her for kindness and help."
