"I had a quick overnight stay here last weekend. My experience was just fine. The room was nice and clean and seemed to have been renovated in the not too distant pass. The room was also pretty large. No complaints there. The location was fine just off the main highway with plenty of dine in and fast food restaurants and a Walmart all nearby. The hotel was far enough from the highway that I didn't notice any traffic noise. And the price was really good too. My only negative is, like so many other hotels, the shower head is only about 5 feet high at best. Unless you're an Oompa Loompa you have to squat down to wash your face and hair. Since the room did seem recently updated it probably would have been a perfect time to move the shower head up."
"We booked this place for a weekend getaway and a wedding, and I can't complain. Our room was very decent, and the price was absolutely perfect considering how accessible so many restaurants and shops are around. Personally didn't try their coffee or breakfast, but the lobby smelled pleasant when I walked in the next morning after our first night. I asked if it was possible to maybe check out a little later, due to us also trying to attend a wedding which was later in the afternoon and we didn't want to hang out in the car. I did say I can pay a certain fee if required, to which I was told no worries and we are good to check out later! No trouble with noise. If we come back in town, I won't need to look for a different place."
"We arrived at this location ~6PM. We were going to use another establishment but it sold out while trying to book. We attempted to book this location on the road but the website kept saying it was too busy to complete the process. When we walked in the lady at the counter instantly says "we have no rooms on the ground floor". That wasn't an issue straight away, but I did ask if they would meet their own website online pricing to which the attendant said she would not, to the difference of just under $20. I tried again to book online but that wasn't happening. My wife went back in and discussed my disability and low and behold, a handicapped ground level room was suddenly available. The attendant did knock about $10 off the booking price for us. The room was supposed to be accessible, but the tub was a regular high side style. The toilet was barely bolted down to the closet flange and rocked dangerously and noisily every time it was sat upon. The room smelled slightly like urine. The bed itself was clean and no sign of anything to be concerned about at least on that point. We had been on the road for 8 hours coming down from Appomattox and other sign seeing so totally were not in the mood to go hunting around town for somewhere else to stay. We planned on seeing Moravian Falls the next morning and this location was 3 miles or so away from that. I simply cannot recommend this location based on the attendants attitude and the state of the room. Days Inn has long been known as a decent value place to stay, but after this experience I believe we will stick to something else for a stop over solution. Of note, there was what appeared to be some possible gang, and certainly drug related activities going on in the parking lot later in the evening and early night. A HUGE storm came through, so most likely that would have been much more lively later in the night. It was quite concerning that there was a big Dodge truck in the parking lot with a flat tire that looked to have been sitting there some time. This was apparently where the drugs are stashed as our young criminals kept going back and forth to it after talking to "clients". Sleep in your car at the rest stop before coming to this location. Terrible."
"My family and I have been staying at this location for several years. Everytime we come to the area. The staff are real nice and the rooms are clean. Just left there yesterday. We go a lot during the summer months. Normally by the time we leave we're already planning our next trip.♥️♥️ My wife Angel really enjoys it."
"I had a car accident and was stranded for a day/night in Wilkesboro. I didn't know the area at all and was very fortunate to find this hotel. Checking in and out, the receptionist were nice, compassionate and very helpful! The entire experience could have been worse but I appreciated their kindness! The hotel room was clean. The surrounding area had restaurants I could walk to. Cleaning staff was nice as well!"
