"I’m sure Mr Azevedo has some expertise with law, but I can certainly say with confidence it is not family law in Knox county. I initially retained Mr. Azevedo for a family law case in 2021. My high net worth cause his attention very quickly, but my case was quickly passed on to one of the junior associates, Abigail Ruiz. Despite several appointments it was not until some time I realized Ms. Ruiz was in fact a licensed attorney and not a paralegal, as our encounters were strictly data collection and she was unable to answer any questions about my case. Mr Azevedo seemed timid and hesitant to engage on my behalf despite repeated dirty tactics of opposing counsel, and seemed resigned to the fact my case was lost.
