"Not my cup of tea. They acted pretty snooty so didn't spend too much time and won't be going back. Not that we needed them, but thought it is pretty funny to have signs saying no public restrooms and to go next door to the Mexican restaurant, which by the way is Great"
"We were astounded at the quality and selection of fine antiques in this store. I generally feel very lucky to find 1 old clock, this store had over 10 antique clocks. This is the finest antique store we've ever visited."
"If Indiana Jones decided to quit tomb raiding and open a store instead, it would probably look a lot like Village Antiques and Interiors. This place is practically a time machine with a cash register, boasting items dating back to when Shakespeare was still penning his drafts. Walking into this place feels like stepping into a museum - except here, everything's for sale, and there are no strict guards scolding you for getting touchy-feely with the artifacts. The staff on hand are about as knowledgeable as Wikipedia, and their customer service skills would make even a concierge at the Ritz jealous. But hold on to your 15th-century hat, because this historical joy ride comes with a price tag that might just have you questioning whether gold doubloons are the accepted currency. Particularly the local items - it seems regional history comes with a rather hefty surcharge. Then there's the slightly aloof vibe - like a stuck-up aristocrat at a royal ball. You might enter looking for antiques, only to find yourself feeling invisible to the staff. So much for their otherwise great customer service, eh? So, in the grand tale of Village Antiques and Interiors, it’s a place that’s got history, charm, and the price tags to prove it. If you’ve got the gold doubloons to spare, it’s worth a visit. Just don’t expect a welcome fanfare if you're not looking like a Rothschild."
"Most expensive antique store in Asheville, possibly the whole state. Mostly imported antiques, not much in terms of good southern or local items. Things you do find that are regional are crazy over priced. An East Tennessee pie safe with reproduction tins and placed incorrectly facing inward instead of outward for $3500. I don’t recommend."
"This is a high end antique store and the prices reflect that."
