"Matt and Stephen have created a little slice of heaven on Elk Mountain. The view from the cottage is amazing. Loved watching the Asheville skyline appear then disappear in the morning fog. Matt stocks the refrigerator with breakfast essentials. He was very responsive to our inquiries. The cottage is impeccably clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom is absolutely amazing. 10-15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Grocery stores and other necessities even closer. We booked a return visit next year before we left. Highly recommend."

"Oh my God this place is amazing. Matt and Stephen have created the perfect hideaway for honeymooners (which is what the wife and I came to Asheville for after our wedding in the hustle and bustle of Nashville). The space is super intimate, and the proprietors pay attention to every detail -- seriously they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I'm pretty sure I also speak for my wife when I say this is easily the most peaceful place we've ever stayed -- vacation or otherwise. And the view from the mountainside is akin to a religious experience. Never seen anything like it. We will absolutely be back. Thank you so much for completing our wedding week."

"Beautiful views! Staying in a cabin is way better than a hotel room. Plus, you get the mountain and downtown views of Ashville but it's only a 10 minute drive into town. The host was very accommodating and personable. The only suggestion I have is to replace the bed as it is very firm, and might be past its prime."
