"I honestly hate this place. They’ve missed obvious maladies with my son. We missed school and had him checked for an ear infection and the PA (because of course you never see an actual Doctor), looked at both ears and said they didn’t see anything. The very Next day my son was in so much pain that I took him to Duke Urgent Care in Knightdale and that provider was shocked and very concerned that less than 24hrs ago a health professional said his ears were fine. They were so bad that the doctor said there’s no physically possible way that they got that bad and had no signs of infection when looked at the day prior. Front desk staff is rude and unprofessional just like all the other comments mention. When my son was younger and there for a sick appointment they pressured me to do vaccinations at that same appointment and I declined saying I want to wait until he’s healthy. I am not an anti vaxxer, we believe in science. But getting shots (that historically he feels unwell within a few hours) when already unwell was not something I was interested in and they would not drop it. I hate that this is the pediatrician we have but it’s affordable for out of pocket payers (no insurance and don’t qualify for Medicaid). You get what you pay for I guess, but I can’t use urgent care as his primary care so here we are."

"Me and my family moved here from FL, and we loved our ped. Based on the reviews, I was cautious about the care I was going to receive. However, from the time I contacted the practice, they were very professional and sweet. The ladies we met in the office were very sweet and patient with my two girls. Having one that's 5 and a baby, they were very experienced and went through their history with me to catch up to speed. They were very detailed in what we needed from them and were willing to help thank you lady's for proving all these negative reviews wrong! I feel completely comfortable moving forward with them"

"I have never seen a doctors office with receptionists that were the most uneducated in regards to insurance and scheduling. I was trying to make an appointment for my children and they wouldn’t schedule their appointments. I asked for paperwork and left, in the process of adding reviews. I see their poor customer service is a ongoing issue. A clinic that has no desire to change the employees that are customer facing that can’t seem to get it together, sadly deserves to keep losing business."

"Everyone at kids first pediatrics is so nice and attentive. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable enough to voice any concerns I may have. Being a first time parent is scary but they make sure my concerns are heard. I want to give Dr. Ashley Martin a special shout-out. Thank you Dr. Martin for caring for my daughter and having so much patience. Sam, her medical assistant, is by far the BEST medical assistant I’ve ever encountered. She creates a safe and comfortable environment for my daughter. Thank you kids first pediatrics of Clayton !"
